Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation confirmed that the Federation’s Board of Directors will spare no effort to work and cooperate with the Omani Bodybuilding Committee in a way that contributes to supporting the qualitative shift in the sports of bodybuilding, fitness and physical strength in the Sultanate of Oman through the exchange of arbitration and organizational experiences. In all fields, in a way that contributes to enhancing the qualitative shift in the Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, and because of their distinguished international standing at the continental and international levels, this came during his reception of His Excellency Dr. Salem Al-Bahri, Chairman of the Omani Body Building Committee, and Mr. Ammar Al-Hosani, member of the committee, at the federation’s headquarters in Dubai, where a meeting was held. To coordinate cooperation, in the presence of the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, Ali bin Haider, the Secretary-General, Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Marri, and members Faisal Al Zaabi, Ahmed Bin Dhabi, Abdul Rahman Al Awadi, and Ahmed Johar.
The meeting included an agreement to enhance cooperation and exchange experience to work on developing the sport of bodybuilding between the Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to cooperation to advance and develop the sport of fitness and work to spread the culture of its practice more broadly and more. The importance of exchanging participation in the tournaments organized in the two countries was also discussed. Including bodybuilding as well, to benefit from the experience of organizing international championships held in the Emirates, as well as cooperating in developing referees due to the global expertise that Emirati bodybuilding enjoys.
In turn, Al-Sharqi described the meeting as fruitful and important for working to enhance the qualitative leap in sports between the two countries, stressing that the Federation’s Board of Directors will spare no effort to achieve new mutual sporting successes in the two countries. He extended his thanks for his invitation to attend the opening of the 19th Amman International Bodybuilding Championships.
