SAS Coaching Diplomas is bringing the NASM Certified Personal Trainer course to Dubai, with the first cohort starting in November 2026. Students finish with two credentials from one course: the NASM Certified Personal Trainer certificate, recognised internationally, and a KHDA attested SAS Coaching Diploma, recognised in the UAE.

How it runs

The course is 48 live hours with a coach, over one month. Theory runs online, three evenings a week on Microsoft Teams in the evening Dubai time, so a working trainer keeps their shifts. The practical runs over two weekends on the gym floor in Al Quoz, Dubai.

Alongside the live hours, students get the full NASM online course with five years of access to the NASM portal, a 40 hour internship at a gym of their choice with a logbook and a letter of introduction, an assigned case study marked by the SAS team, and a mock exam before the real one.

Who teaches it

The course is taught by a team of international experts, including doctors, professional athletes and experienced coaches, online and on the floor in Dubai.

The exam

The NASM exam is included in the fee. It is sat online in English, within six months of activating the exam key.

Entry requirements

18 or over, a high school diploma, and good English, since the NASM exam is in English. A valid CPR and AED certificate is required before sitting the exam. Students who do not already hold one can take it through us, and we will quote them for it.
